I am privileged to express this welcome message on behalf of the Board of Directors to introduce The Dakshin Dinajpur District Central Co-Operative Bank Ltd. (“The Bank for All”) to each of you.
Since 1915, our Bank had been providing its services for the people. The Bank is now providing services through its 7(Seven) branches and 3(Three) ATMs spread over five blocks, namely Balurghat, Gangarampur, Tapan, Kumarganj and Hili in the district of Dakshin Dinajpur. We are dedicating our services for the socio-economic development of rural masses by providing loans and financial assistance under various schemes and uplifting living condition of rural poor, especially farmers, members of Self Helf Groups. Amongst its various priorities the Bank focuses mainly on lending to Farmers, JLGs, SHGs and it has proved its excellence by issuing RuPay Kisan Credit Cards to individual farmers, by providing skill development training, credit linkage for self help groups for their socio-economic upliftment. Our Bank is also a pioneer in direct savings & credit linkage for SHGs running under WBSRLM, NULM.
We established SHG training centre “Sabala” at our Bank’s Head Office under RKVY scheme of the Co-operation Department, Govt. of West Bengal. More than 1100 SHGs running under our member PACS have been digitized. We act as financing bank for all SHG Sangha Co-operatives registered under Co-operation Directorate, Dakshin Dinajpur. We have also distributed more than 16000 RuPay KCC to the farmers.
We are providing different products and services to meet varied requirements of rural and urban customers and small entrepreneurs. On the score of changing preferences, our Bank has been continuously innovating and ensuring customer delight through products and service enrichments.
With the fast up-gradation of Technology in Banking Sector we are trying to provide best services to our valued customers. Introduction of core Banking solutions, becoming member of National Financial Switch managed by NCPI, launching of RuPay Debit cum ATM Card by providing access through the ATMs across the district, providing customers NG-RTGS facility from its own platform, introducing Internet Banking (non-financial) facility, Host to Host facility for transfer of benefits under various Government Sponsored Programmes directly to the beneficiaries’ accounts with the Bank are all aimed at improving the quality of service to our valuable customers.
The Bank’s Corporate Governance Philosophy is based on sound business ethics and strong professional acumen and based on its professional ethics our Bank has established Grievance Redressal Mechanism for its customers. The Bank ensures strict compliance with regulatory and other guidelines of RBI, Co-operation Directorate/ Department and other Regulatory Authorities and with WBCS Act, 2006 and WBCS Rules, 2011. It is firm in its commitment to promote best corporate governance and strives to live-up to shareholders and customers expectations.
